Kata mutiara memang selalu menjadi populer di jagat dunia maya. Awalnya memang kata mutiara memiliki fungsi utama yaitu menyemangati diri sendiri dan orang lain, selain itu juga sebagai pengingat kita untuk tetap yakin akan mimpi dan cita cita.

Namun akhir-akhir ini kata kata mutiara sering dijadikan tempat ajang pamer. Narsisme yang berlebihan sekaligus kemudahan menggunakan sosial media membuat kata kata mutiara disalahgunakan.

Anak muda jaman sekarang cenderung menggunakan kata kata mutiara untuk menunjukkan bahwa dia bisa ‘wise’ dalam menghadapi sebuah masalah.
